Ms. Camasta
Over a decade ago, I began my career at FAMS as a 6th grade Social Studies teacher. Since then, I’ve gained experience in other districts and returned with a renewed passion for collaboration, creativity, and student success. I hold a Master’s from Rutgers and have completed both my Supervisor and Principal Certifications through Montclair State. As a Level 2 Google Certified Educator and current ISTE Certification candidate, I focus on using technology with intention to strengthen teaching and learning. I’m committed to maintaining a school culture where high expectations, strong support, innovation, and meaningful relationships help every student thrive. As I often remind my own child, “You don’t have to be the best—but you must try your hardest.”
Outside of school, I live an active lifestyle and am a Jersey girl through and through. I was a Division I soccer player at Rutgers and carry the values of perseverance, discipline, and teamwork into my leadership every day. I love finding new restaurants with my husband and son, and spending time “off the leash” with our chocolate lab. I’m also a proud Eagles fan with a dream of watching Liverpool play at Anfield one day.
I’m incredibly excited to step into the role of Assistant Principal at FAMS. Here’s to a great school year full of growth, effort, and shared success!
