Start With Hello Week celebrates the amazing work of educators, students, and community members in building socially inclusive learning environments for all students. The Sandy Hook Promise created this week to promote inclusion and to support students who are showing signs of loneliness or social isolation. Loneliness is the overwhelming feeling of being left out and social isolation is not having frequent interactions with friends. This week will remember how important it is to be kind, inclusive and reach out to others in our school community!
Back to School Night is scheduled for Tuesday, September 21, 2021 beginning promptly at 6:45PM. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, all visitors must wear a properly fitted face covering to attend. We ask that all parents go directly to their child’s homeroom class. As part of the homeroom activities, we plan to utilize our TV programming capabilities and broadcast all announcements. Additionally, after the brief presentation, parents will receive a copy of their child’s schedule, a map of the building, a modified bell schedule for the evening, and other pertinent information.
