Over the past twelve years Franklin Avenue Middle School has generated a growing 8^thgrade television production program or “FAMS Live” which heavily introduces technology into the classroom.  By the time each student graduates from FAMS they will have been part of this program.   The purpose of FAMS Live is to give FAMS students a real world experience while maintaining a classroom environment.   Every morning an 8^th grade class is put to test as they perform a live morning television broadcast that is viewed by the entire student body while they are in homeroom.  Besides learning the technical aspect of live production, the students also learn that teamwork is an intricate component to making FAMS Live a success.
