Today's Bulletin

ATTENTION STUDENTS-Apparel shall not be sheer, brief, low cut, tight fitting or revealing so as to be embarrassing, distracting, or indecent.  All dresses, skirts, and shorts shall approach the knee in length (mid-thigh or lower).  Lycra/spandex shorts are not permitted in school.  Shirts, pants and/or blouses, which leave the stomach area/midriff exposed, are not acceptable in school.  Also, halter tops and spaghetti straps are not permitted.  Tank tops must be two inches wide.

TODAY'S EVENTS: Tuesday, April 25, 2017     

Today's baseball ad softball games are postponed until this Friday, April 28th.  The softball team will practice in the gym after school today. There will be no baseball practice today. Any questions see Mr. Jenisch.

Track members-please inform you parents that rack meet at Indian Hills has been postponed due to the track needing repair. We will have a normal practice and until a make-up date for this meet will be announced in the near future.                                                   

Attention 7th and 8th Grade Students – Today, please report directly to the lunch room for a brief meeting before moving on to any lunch activities today.

FAMS will be hosting many visitors this week.  Today representatives from the YMCA will be speaking to students at lunch.  Also happening today during seventh grade PE classes, there will be a visit by the American Heart Association.  On Thursday, everyone will notice our young visitors in the halls, as we host Bring Your Child To Work Day.

FAMS – Spring has sprung and it’s time for some gentle reminders:  This week’s message includes some easy reminders around the letters F, G, and H.

            F- Fidget toys are not permitted in school.  Please do not bring them to school.

            G – Gum chewing is not permitted in school.

            H – Hall passes are required to be used by all students when leaving a classroom.             

Music –

Show Choir –  ALL MEMBERS will have rehearsal tomorrow morning at 7:15 am.  Please be on time

Handbells  7th grade will meet today at lunch            

Concert Band –   6th grade clarinets have lessons 8th period, and 7th and 8th grade during 1st period 

Jazz Band – Reminder to check your email for the details about Thursday’s concert at Indian Hills High School

Sports 

Ramapo High School Cheerleading – Attend this year’s interest meeting for details and information on joining.    Date – April 27th at 5:00 pm, Room 905 at RHS.

FAMS CLUBS 

Book Club - Please check Google Classroom for information and see Ms. Burnup if you have any questions!

Dance Team –   Meets today after school from 3:00 – 3:45 pm.  Please arrange for a prompt pick-up. See or  email  Miss Hammershlag.

Drama Club -   The cast and crew of The Sound of Music will have their cast party on Wednesday, April 26th, in the MPR from 3:00 – 4:00 pm to reunite and celebrate the show’s success!  Questions?  See Miss Stein 

Environmental Club – Join us for a special event!  The club will be hosting a special guest on Thursday, April 27th, in Room 165, from 3:00 – 3:45 pm.  Come find out about the real world problem of declining bee populations and what you can do to help!  All are welcome!

Stem Club –  There will be no club meeting this week.  6th Grade STEM Club will meet next Wednesday, May 3rd.  Questions?  See or email Mrs. Antonison
