Sra. Contreras has been teaching Spanish at FAMS since 2002. She graduated from Montclair State University and has a master's degree in Education. She has earned over 30 credits in Spanish Literature courses. She is from Maracaibo,Venezuela and has been living in the United States for many years. She loves to help her students to achieve the gift of learning a language . She shares in her classroom the passion for other cultures, music, languages and people from other parts of the world. She believes that learning about each other will help us to be part of a better place. She enjoys teaching and learning from middle school children because they are very enthusiastic, smart and fun to be with in the classroom.
