Mrs. Feinhals received her Master's degree (EdM) from Harvard University, where she worked with researchers in pedagogy, school reform, technology and curriculum.  She received her Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University, with a concentration in Education Policy, through the Honors Program.   She was an intern with the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association where she concentrated her research on administration and leadership in charter schools.

In terms of teaching, she enjoys applying her graduate and undergraduate coursework in Mathematics, School Reform and General Education to enhance the lessons in her classroom.   She has been teaching math at FAMS since 2006 and taught 5th grade at HMR from 2003-2006.  During her time at FAMS, she has served on the FLOW Mathematics committee as well as the Math Curriculum Revision committee and the Tech Committee for FAMS.  She also serves as the Red Team Leader for grade 6.  Outside the Franklin Lakes district, she has worked with children of all ages in a variety of educational settings including a performing arts school, a Head Start school and the television station PBS.

Hours:  Feel free to contact Mrs. Feinhals at gfeinhals@franklinlakes.k12.nj.us or during morning or afternoon office hours.   Morning conferences are held each month before school as well as afternoon conferences each month after school, as needed.  The morning conferences are on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 AM and the afternoon conferences are on the first Monday of the month at 4 PM.
