About Miss Bookspan

Miss Bookspan is looking forward to another year of teaching 6th grade Language Arts at Franklin Avenue Middle School! She attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick where she received her Bachelor's degree in English and her Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Middle School Language Arts.

There is nothing Miss Bookspan loves to do in her spare time more than read, but she also enjoys spending time with her family and pets.

Teaching Philosophy

As a teacher, Miss Bookspan believes that every student is a unique individual that learns in their own unique way. Therefore, she tries to incorporate different methods and modalities of teaching and assessing students. Her goal is to reach every student so that they all have a fair opportunity to learn and show what they know!
